Personality
Extremely Ethical | Calm | Smug | Formal | Thinks things through | Sarcastic | Introverted | Apathetic | Religious | Loyal | Vain
A very important thing about Dandeliondream is how ethical she is. If something is even a little bit immoral, you better believe that she'll be opposed to it. Lying is totally wrong to her, as is breaking your word for any reason. Ethical dilemmas are something she is constantly pondering about. She can be frequently sitting at the edge of camp, staring into nothingness with thousands of scenarios fluttering through her mind. If a leader ordered someone to go on a massacre, would it still be against the warrior code? Obviously not, since the leaders word is law. But what if they were a dictator, and going against Starclan? Oh, what questions... Another thing to know about her is how... calm she is. It seems that almost anything can faze her. A constant, monotone expression is always plastered on her face, no matter the situation. Even if she was facing the jaws of death itself, the molly would be extremely cool and collected. It can even be seen as passive aggressive, and sometimes is purposely so. A small, but nonetheless smug smile at a cat arguing or threatening her with an unfazed expression is a perfect way for her to shut someone down.
This molly is extremely formal. She always dips her head when encountering someone she respects, her tone of voice is fluent and steady which matches her eloquent words she uses every now and then. She constantly sits upright- she wouldn't be caught dead slouching or looking unprofessional. Fur constantly groomed to perfection, paws delicately and carefully weaving across the ground, everything she does has to be flawless to her. She thinks things through very thoroughly. Every decision she makes is run through her mind and sculpted into the best outcome, and only then will she react to the situation. So, so far she's an ethics freak, level-headed but smug, proper, and analytical. Got it.
Snark is something that clearly pumps through Dandelions veins. Even though the dedicated, formal molly seems like the least likely to contain such sarcasm, this little molly has enough to knock someone out. If there's even the smallest opening you better believe she'll quip in with an ironic remark. She doesn't really have a chance to do so that much, mostly because of her introverted attitude. She doesn't really... socialize with other cats. It's not that she doesn't like others- wait, no. That's a lie. She completely hates talking. It's such a nuisance. There's so many social ques, and if you don't say it "right" then someone will get mad at you. It's just so exhausting. The calico just can't understand how some find it "fun" and all. In fact, she finds those cats rather annoying. That being said, you better believe that charisma doesn't come naturally to this cat. Because of her lack of practice in the social arena, almost all of her interactions with other felines seems forced and awkward- not like Dandelion cares though, to be honest.
This molly doesn't seem to care much about other cats. Let's just get that out of the way. Despite her strong moral compass, she surprisingly couldn't care less about other cats. She does seem to show a little more affection to her clan mates than she would for others, though it's still not much. Sympathy is a trait she clearly doesn't even understand. Why should she even begin to even consider how her actions might affect others, when it's her life that she should only really care about? The only real reason why she cares about ethics at all is because how faithful she is to Starclan. She abides by the warrior code so strongly that she can't even fathom breaking it. Dandelion knows every different code by heart, and follows it strictly with no lenience. This ties in to her upright loyalty. Even if she doesn't exactly care for the cats of her clan, she will still give her life for them all. She has a clear hostility towards other clans, and will gladly stand up for Riverclan no matter the situation.

Backstory
Dandelion doesn't have a long, tragic upbringing to her like some may assume from her distant personality. The only think remotely "bad" that happened was her father being a loner, charming her mother into bearing kits and then leaving as soon as they were born. She never really cared for her mother though- she was a very social cat and constantly left the nursery to go and gossip with the other mollies and whatnot. She still cared for the kits, and was all and all a good parent. Their mother was young when she had kits, so it was understandable that she would have to escape them every now and then. She had a large litter, too. And Dandelion didn't like them that much either. Always shrieking and running around, trying to persuade her to playing mossball and whatnot with them. It was very annoying to the young molly. One of the kits from the nursery had a personality slightly similar to hers. They didn't like socializing with their denmates, or playing stupid games and listening to old fools blabber on about false stories. The two became friends, and hung out with each other frequently. Well, it was more of they were sitting in the same vicinity with each other, but still.
Given her apprentice name as Dandelionpaw, she was assigned an older feline as her mentor. They got along as well as they could, but they were both all-business type cats, so chatter was something the two rarely did. Her mentor was good at training her, though early in her apprenticeship her right eye started to have a cloudy film cover it. This is probably the first time she felt something even remotely of fear. She took comfort with her childhood friend, and their bond seemed to grow stronger. Dandelion started... feeling things towards them. Something that she never felt towards anyone before. Even though whatever the feeling was was quite strong, she had to push it aside to concentrate on her training. Luckily her mentor pushed her even harder because of her partial-blindness, and she even passed some of her fellow apprentices. She wasn't that great at hunting, she found it pretty bland. What she excelled at was fighting. Obviously her right eye was a huge liability, so she made up for it by skill in the battlefield. Eventually she received her warrior name, Dandeliondream, only slightly behind the others.
Now that she didn't have to worry about training, she and her childhood friend grew even closer. Her strange feelings toward them only grew, to the point where she couldn't ignore it anymore. She went and told them how strongly she felt for them, and how she'd never felt anything like this towards anyone before. She was so vulnerable to them, something she hated to do. And they rejected her. This brought her world crashing down, and the former friends grew apart. Still, she was a dutiful warrior. Dandelion was slightly closer to a few of her siblings after this, but they weren't that tight-nit of a family.
